Research Questionaire /graphs

The importance of primary research is that to help us to create  our thriller films it allows to find what the audience like their thriller to be like so we create a questionnaire in order to gather some information  and research on what our target audience  wanted to see. This helps us  when it comes  to actually creating a  our own thriller film, so that  we are able to make effective for our audience  and conventional to thriller genre.   

 

 The picture at the top, is the questions I asked the audience. when counting up the results, we found out that the majority of group liked action thriller and psychological thriller more than sci-fi  other genres. This was a great result  because it gives us  an idea  of what  we could focus on the  thriller genres  conventional instead of placing a mixture of other  conventions inside our thriller film in order to make it more  effective on the audience.

 

 What sub-genre are you most drawn to?

 

This questions was asked so that it can help us plan and  to get a clear idea for creating our thriller film as we can relate back to out target audiences answers. The questionnaire would actually help us when it comes to creating a certain impacting effect on the audience ; furthermore , when we added  to our research  of other thrillers, it may able us to make our thriller conventional to the thriller genre.

Conclusion:  The creation of questionnaire actually has helped me of creating of thriller film because we are able to make the film relate to the public's response, also this will help us thriller film more conventional to the thriller genre  as we  are able to use the questionnaire as a base line to create our thriller around ; for example the theme of  tortured ; due to this we have based it on tortured  as it at the end it will be traumatizing when looking at the response  from the questionnaire, it was clear to my group , that our target audience was 15-20 year old people of mixed genre who all wish to see thriller film containing suspense, tension  and surprise. This information is essential to our group as we now know who our target audience is  and what they want to see within our thriller.
