Prelminary task is designed to familiarise you with the camera and it helped our group to understand how to operate the camera by trying to use a range of cinematograghy, for example in my group everyone had a go of filming we then nominated one person to film our 30 seconds screnario.
In my group we decide to create a small sequence to get a clear idea of how to use the camera, the scenrio that we created was that sezer will be sitting down he will be doing something then when he see's me he then tells me to come upstairs after that we have a small conversation about what subject we like finally we then walked different direction.
Also in my group everyone had their own roles for example my role was to take care of sounds, costumes, hair and make up for our actual thriller opening scene. jade's role she will be taking care of the final storyboard and she will be taking of the lighting during our filming of our thriller. khaled will be the director and editor, finally sezer will the camera operator, he will also be the producer and the location manager as we all have got roles in our group which makes it much more easier for each one of us in the group so that we won't rely on one person it helps us all have a role so everyone within the group are taking part doing something aswell.
It was difficult filming our small sceniro because we didn't really knew how to use the camera properly, the person that was filming he didn't know how to stop the camera when he was trying to director the people that was acting in our scenrio, it was also hard for me to understand when i was trying to record a i had a shakey hand because i wasn't really used to recording at all, and also each one of us in our group we tried recording so that everyone else will have any experience of recording as well.It was quit hard filming in school because there was people in the walking in out when we was trying to film there was quit a lot of noises which disturpted our filming.
Another difficult thing that i found while editing it was when trying to edit our scenrio i didnt know how to cut out particular scene that i didn't it to be in the scene and it was also hard tying to cut down the seconds that we was given to edit, our group we went over the limits up to 33 seconds because we was trying to make the scenrio make sense.
What i have learned about pleminary task is that it helped me get a clear understanding of how each cinematography is conversitional for thriller making it brings all the elements together it also used to get you familarise with the camera.
Conlusion: This task was benetical for me because it allowed me to understand how to use the camera and how different angels helps create a great scenrio and also task helped my group to understand how to edit our thriller film and this task helped me get a clear a idea of our thriller will be like it gave me an idea that everyone in the group have to be organised so that our thriller will be good.
